KushCon Recap!

KushCon is the biggest Cannabis lifestyle convention in U.S. history. The event was sponsored by Kush Magazine and DailyBuds.com and a total of 450 different vendors from all over the world came to show off their new innovations and creations. Hundreds of thousands of dollars in prizes were given away to those who attended. I knew it was going to be a great time but I had no idea what was going to happen later in the evening. After the show, a wonderful friend came and delivered four different kinds of some outstanding bud which amounted to over a zip. We were also given candy, oatmeal bars, hash oil capsules and over a thousand dollars worth of bongs. What followed was uncontrollable laughter, temporary paralysis and drooling. Check out all the pictures on the Facebook page!

This is Blu's (not the rapper) interpretation of the evolution of man through the medium of stop animation and wall painting. So good.

Laos Recap!

I recently took a few days away to visit Laos. You rarely get the opportunity to see the world through a different lens so I jumped at this one. From Luang Prabang to Phatung along with treks through the hills of Nong Kiau, I was able to come back stateside with a renewed appreciation on life. The trip was centered around detachment and rebirth while being hands on with the non-profit organization, Pencils of Promise. We visited 3 of the current 15 schools that have been built in Laos for beautiful children who take full advantage of the opportunity to educate themselves. I return from this trip with a greater appreciation of opportunity, motivation to continue to live outside myself and the realization of how much we complicate our own lives. I look forward to continue a more simplistic, productive lifestyle. Never letting a day go by without being thankful for what I have.
